Meet The Doctor

Dr. Schletzbaum graduated from Hutchinson Community College 1997 with an associate’s degree and from Kansas State University in 1999 with a BS in Life Science. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2003 and was member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Schletzbaum returned to his hometown of Hutchinson, Kan. to practice with Dr. Torrence. He received the 2010 Vision Service Award and 2011 Outstanding Young Optometrist Award from the Kansas Optometric Association. He is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. He is married and has three children. In his time outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and attending Kansas State sporting events.
